A Turning Point: One individual can impact millions. You might be familiar with Idi Amin, a notorious dictator. In 1971, Amin initiated a swift expulsion of Asians from Uganda within three months. In a race against time, my family arrived in England just two months later.

Growing up in North London, we swiftly adapted to the British way of life—a community that embraced us warmly.
